Yamaha Modus F11 Review

Yamaha Modus F11 Review

Review on Yamaha Modus F11 Digital Piano

The design of the Yamaha Modus F11 and other Modus pianos are very unique. This piano draws attention quickly. This Yamaha Modus F11 review is to inform those shopping for a luxury digital piano.

The target market for Yamaha Modus are those who seek fine design in smaller spaces. The price tag may give you a little sticker shock. This bad boy retails at $13,000! and it doesn't even brush your teeth for you. But... this digital piano has player piano functions that can stream internet radio. Yamaha player pianos usually go from $10k and up. A Yamaha disklavier is usually over $20k.  Here at Piano Gallery Direct we have the price listed at the minimum amount allowed by Yamaha which is under $6,000 so you are saving over $5k plus you get free shipping and no sales tax outside of Utah.

Yamaha Modus F11 Review: Features

The Yamaha Modus has some nice features. It isn't packed with all the bells and whistles like some of Yamaha's flagship pianos but there are some high quality features you don't find on other digital pianos.

You can stream songs from the internet and your Modus F11 will play them. Your piano becomes an entertainment piece in your own living room. Have your piano perform some Norah Jones or maybe some Coldplay or any of your favorite artists.

You have stereo sampling for spatial depth. The accuracy in sound of the Yamaha Modus F11 resembles Yamaha's flagship concert grand piano. You'll hear the nuances, pedal and damper sounds that make this F11 seem like a concert grand piano.

Connect your USB drive into the Modus F11 to play your song lists back to you. Natural wood keys give the Modus a nice touch of quality.

If you are considering a Yamaha Modus digital piano and can't decide between F11 or F01, we think dollar for dollar, the F11 is the way to go. If you consider the price difference between the two which is about $2,500 and the main difference is the piano player feature. At the least it costs over $5,000 to install a player piano unit in a piano and that wouldn't include internet radio. The F11 is the better deal for your money.

If you have any questions about this Yamaha Modus F11 Review, please contact us for more information. Our friendly and knowlegeable staff at Piano Gallery Direct is willing to help answer your questions. 1-800-600-9710.
