Casio Privia PX-330 Well Under $1000

You can get the Casio Privia PX-330 for cheap. Before Casio Privia came along, you couldn't get a digital piano with this technology under 1000 and many digital pianos were over $2,000 with this technology. You get over 250 different sounds, hammer-action and graded-action weighted keys so it feels like a grand piano and an amazing 16 track recording.

You can put the Casio PX-330 in duet mode or split mode. As far as connectivity, you have USB MIDI wich can connect to a computer for more capabilities. Also for connecting to piano amplifiers there are 1/4" outputs and inputs and MIDI in if you need.

Casio Privia received "home digital piano of the year" award from Music Trades Magazine in 2010. Casio has really blown away the market in the past few years.

Yamaha P-155 is a digital piano priced right at 1000 dollars

The Yamaha P-155 has the nice hammer-action keyboard with some high quality features. This piano comes with 17 different sounds, four kinds of effects and four reverb types, 2-track recording, dual and split mode and 4-level dynamic stereo sampling. The PX-130 has three level piano sampling. There is also metronome, 1/4" outs and ins, 2 headphone jacks, USB and a sustain pedal. Most digital pianos come with a sustain pedal.

Yamaha P-95 is Also Well Under 1000

Yamaha P-95 has ten voices to choose from and has the innovative Yamaha dynamic stereo technology. The keyboard is a full 88 hammer-action weighted keys. Two headphone jacks are integrated for duets with headphones. You also have MIDI connectivity a music rest and a sustain pedal.
